Turkana Friends Mission Director John Moru and Friends Church Peace Team (FCPT) coordinator Getry Agizah recently distributed ten new sewing machines to Friends women in Kakuma Refugee Camp, the largest refugee camp in the world, with nearly 200,000 people currently sheltering there. Thanks to the outreach efforts of the Turkana Friends Mission, Friends now have four churches inside the camp.

Elgon for nearly a decade and is trusted by many who don't trust the government or other social agencies. Instead of seeking and knocking to get into the presence of God, we have to knock on the door to get out of the prison of worldliness we have built for ourselves out of the things that we thought we desired but which do not satisfy us.
