Julie Rudd is new FUM Web Assistant

FUM is pleased to announce that Julie Rudd has agreed to be E-commerce and Web  Assistant for Friends United Meeting and Friends United Press. Her responsibilities include managing dynamic content for our web site and social  media; virtually stocking and maintaining our online book store; and helping  us craft content that will gain and hold attention across the broad spectrum  of ages, beliefs, and internet activity that comprise our diverse fellowship.

Julie  has a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Houghton College and an M.Div from  the Earlham School of Religion. She is a convinced Friend, and appreciates  FUM for providing her with a spiritual home where all are equal in Christ and  where the Gospel is understood as the path of peace. She is passionate about  communicating the message of Friends to a world that so deeply needs Friends’  witness.

We will  be sharing Julie with Wilmington Friends Meeting, in Wilmington, Ohio, where  she is in her sixth year as pastoral minister. She also serves on the boards  of the Clinton County Adult Day Center and Hope House: A Safe Place for Women  and Children. She and her husband Craig live with one dog, three cats, and  seven chickens in Wilmington, Ohio.

Julie  began working for FUM in late November. She may be reached at  julier@fum.org.
