FLMH recently hired Grace Khayota as the new hospital administrator after the retirement of long-serving Jackson Fukwa. They have also completed about 80% of the construction of a modern three-suite surgical theater—but it will take more time and money to furnish and equip the theater than for the building construction itself.
Lugulu Hospital continues to be encouraged by every contribution they receive through FUM’s Adopt-a-Bed fund, which allows them to care for needy Friends who are unable to pay their hospital bill. Even small contributions can have a big impact, just like the hospital does.
