Ambwere Farm Maize Harvest is Sold

An array of activities is currently happening within the Friends United Meeting sustainability project in Kitale, Kenya—the Ambwere Farm—with the latest activity being the sale and delivery of maize (corn) to the National Cereals and Produce Board (NCPB) in Kitale.

During the Friday session, the General Board received the recommendation to establish a Latino Friends Ministry Committee to oversee FUM programs and engagements with Spanish-speaking Friends in North America.

A difficult leading

My wife Nancy and I lived and worked in the United States for eighteen years—twenty years for Nancy. Nancy worked as a nurse, and was also going to school for advanced education in health care management. Then, in April, 2013, FUM began to advertise for the position of principal at Friends Theological College (FTC).

Daddy’s Girl
