FUM and RFS will be Represented at American Ramallah Convention

Friends United Meeting will be represented by Ramallah Friends School Head Rania Maayeh and Global Ministries Coordinator Karla Jay at the sixty-fifth annual convention of the American Federation of Ramallah Palestine, from July 11–13, in Jacksonville, Florida.

FTC Community Blesses Wafulas before Sabbatical

On Thursday, June 19, 2024, the staff and faculty of Friends Theological College prayed for and released the principal, Dr. Robert Wafula, and his wife Nancy, as they traveled to Britain to attend a conference. After the conference, Dr. Robert will still be away as he takes his sabbatical leave that is of effect from 26 June to 26 December 2024. During his sabbatical, Dr. Robert will engage in travels among Yearly Meetings and churches, etc., which will undoubtedly bring new insights and experiences to our college.

Lessons from the garden

This growing season celebrates the 15th Anniversary of the Compassion Garden at our Meetinghouse. This garden project will not last forever at Winchester Friends, but I am thankful for the years I’ve had and the lessons I’ve learned from urban gardening in the middle of Winchester, Indiana.
