Belize Friends School Welcomes New Principal

Belize Friends School, with great enthusiasm, is pleased to announce the appointment of Antoliana Budna as our new principal. She comes to this position with a master’s degree in Leadership in Education, as well as the necessary bachelor’s and associate’s degrees in Primary Education. Antoliana Budna’s qualifications and life experiences align with Belize Friends School’s vision and values.

Belize Friends Center hosts Literacy Event

The Belize Friends Center, Message in a Book Foundation Belize, and Belize Friends Church collaborated and hosted their first Literacy Party, and it was a fantastic success! The Friends Center wants to extend a heartfelt thank you to our dedicated youth leaders, Sunday school children, and the amazing parents who made this event possible. They look forward to another successful Literacy Party next year, as they continue to spread the love of reading and learning in our community.

Thirty Days of Prayer - Day Twelve

We are the inheritors of the disciples being sent to share the love of God made known through Jesus' life, teachings, death, and resurrection. Emory Rees, a distant cousin, was one who went to Kenya in 1903. Assisted by Kenyans, he made a verbal, tribal language into a written one and translated the New Testament. Many others have been called and have responded by going as led to provide education, technical help, and medical services....

Thirty Days of Prayer - Day Nine

1 John 2:6 (NASB) “6 the one who says he abides in Him ought himself to walk in the same manner as He walked.” Abiding in something is often translated as ‘remaining’. But in order to remain we must first have a beginning. This verse says that if we say we are remaining in Him (Christ) then we must continue after our awakening. I believe it was John Punshon who taught our spirit must be quickened by the Holy Spirit in order to become a believer and follower of Christ.
